Got the late entry invite by Kavet and Lofa from Lightsleepers to attend an art show at Circus in Haleiwa. Nick and the gang at circus have been running 3rd saturday events for about 6 months now, attempting to bring the funk to the mellow city.

Headed into town for aloha friday r&r on bikes with the homies. It was a chill ride with plenty talk story and chillin which was just what I needed after a crazy week.


Started off at Point Panic to check out the homey Klash DE spongeing it.

Not quite ready to call it a night, we waited for the homey George to meet up with us at McDizzles. Got to see a shoplifter stealing a bag and trotting away. Eventually an employee caught up to him and got the bag back.

Before my sunday show at Ala Moana I got a chance to check out Aloha Sunday. I threw in a few shirts as a sponsorship trying to promote my Champagne Dreams line. Got there at 11 which was a bit too early I guess but never the less I was there. Around 12 more and more people started arriving and doper and doper bikes came out. There were a good range of bikes, vintage setups, race setups, eye sores and ghetto rigs. I was the only one a BMX bike there but when this dude came with a single gear mountain bike AND a unicycle I didnt feel so lonely. Thanks to Ryan and the gang from Aloha Fixed for letting me get down on the support.

Art Dreams Wrapup..

Good times good fun. Pinky Taylor was eccentric as usual and killed the hats. I got stuck doing hats last time and never got to enjoy myself so I took the chill road this time and hung out both days. Never had my camera the second day and missed taking pictures with the homies so i'll shout em out for coming through..so big ups to Lofa, Rival'e, Ckaweeks, Nakas, Krusha, Bolter, Dmize, Wizdom 2, Seanski, Hinano and Nboss. Shea and the fam from Sheas Luxury Detail came down in their sundays finest all fresh. They said they were dressed up for brunch but I think they really dressed up to see me. DJ Baumer aka DJ Provolone aka DJ International was on the ones and twos both days. Zack Shimizu was a trooper and played saturday night, partied all night, showed up sunday morning to support and then killed it again at Kit and Kitchen later that night. Life of a rockstar. On to the flixxx..

Ala Moana day. Steve Looney of Pacific Soul Tattoo had the bubble guts starting off the day. As soon as he put his paintings up people were loving it though. He brought Willie the apprentice through to kick it and bodyguard. Paulo from the shop came through as well with his oldschool high red socks on cheehoo.

If the artist wasnt my friend I probaly would've stole this. He goes by the name of Dave's Action and I really feel that this painting should get some action and sell.


Tried to run away from painting for as long as I could but got stuck. It was for a good cause though, homey had a keiki on the way and was setting up the babies room with some art.



The crew came through with the G-Rides. Can anyone say free parking?

Ended sunday night at Kit and Kitchen. I grew up in the neighborhood and never ate at this restaurant before. The owner Kit was super cool. Drinking on the spot, dancing to every song, sitting down at the table speaking with all the customers. Hooked it up with a Tsingtao after dinner drink too. It was my first time having it, sweet beer taste and smell. I would definitely buy a twelve pack thanks to him.
